Introduction

God communicates in special ways.  He may touch your heart when you listen to a song.  He may send someone to speak an encouraging word or perform an act of kindness.  He may command your guardian angel to hide your car keys, causing you to leave home five minutes later – and avoid a fatal collision.

Every night, when we close our eyes and His angels watch over us, our subconscious minds sort through the day’s events.  Sometimes the Lord will use that quiet time, when we are free from distractions, to examine our worries, show us solutions, and even reveal future events.

Usually I don’t remember my dreams in the morning.  However, in November and December 2020, I received several dreams about the End Times that were so startling that I immediately wrote them down in a journal upon awakening.

The first dream was about transhumanism and a foreign invasion on America’s West Coast.  It was so vivid that I felt like I was watching a movie.  The ensuing dreams were shorter, yet also rich in detail.

I had more of these astonishing dreams in the summer of 2021.  I have included both sets of these dreams in this book.  If the Lord sends me more amazing dreams, I will post them on my blog and – if enough time remains – publish them in another collection.

I have accepted these dreams with gratitude, and I have taken them to the Lord for interpretation.  I believe that God has shown me glimpses not only of my own future, but also of significant events scheduled to happen on Earth.  How exciting that Bible prophecy is being fulfilled in our lifetime!

God is pouring blessings upon believers during these troubled times.  I hope that other Christians will come forward and share their own prophetic dreams.

Dream #1, Part 1: The Movie Premiere

I received this dream on November 17, 2020.  This is the longest dream the Lord sent to me.  I will describe the first half of the dream here and the second half in the next chapter.

Throughout this dream, my dog Ricky, a good-natured German Shepherd, was at my side.  In real life, Ricky greeted visitors by sprawling across their shoes and smiling up at them.  My friends joked that they could not move because this gentle giant had pinned their feet to the floor.

Several years ago, Ricky passed at the age of seventeen.  If anyone wonders if dogs are in Heaven, here is the answer:

The day after I lost Ricky, I stood in the kitchen, grieving as I made a sandwich I could not share with him.  Suddenly, a heavy weight descended on my right foot.  I cried out, “I can’t move my foot!”  Then I felt pressure against my right leg.  After a few seconds, these sensations faded away.

For the last time on Earth, Ricky sat on my foot, leaned against my leg, and smiled up at me.  I did not see him or hear his deep bark.  I did not have to.

The Lord sent Ricky back to show me that my beloved dog was alive – and that Heaven is not far away.

Throughout this dream, Ricky stayed at my side like a guardian angel, to remind me of God’s protection.

The Dream

I was walking through a large crowd with Ricky at my left side.  He was not on a leash; he ambled along and watched everything calmly and carefully.  We approached a convention center, a huge auditorium that typically hosts home improvement expos, science fiction conventions, and other big events.  We were there to attend a film premiere.

The convention center was divided into three sections, so that multiple shows could be held on the same day.  Today, only the middle section was in use: a theater with a gigantic movie screen.  The audience sat in terraced rows of plush chairs that stretched far into the distance.  The atmosphere was similar to a TV or movie awards show, but on a grander scale.  This was a once-in-a-lifetime event to unveil a cutting-edge technology.

This film premiere had drawn so many attendees that the doors to the other two sections in the convention center were wide open to handle the overflow of people.  There were not enough seats for everyone.  Some moviegoers sat on the floor in the aisles.  Others, like me, stood in the foyer and watched through the doors in the back of the theater.  Everyone wanted to see what was going on.

On the screen, a classic black-and-white movie was playing.  I did not recognize the film.  It was a costume drama, a Greek tragedy similar to the 1962 film Electra.

One at a time, the actors on the screen delivered a soliloquy -- a short speech revealing their characters’ inner thoughts -- then turned away from each other and faced the audience.  (In Hollywood, this is called “breaking the fourth wall.”)

Each time they did this, the movie literally came to life.  The black-and-white celluloid image of the 1960s actors morphed into today’s living, breathing, A-listers, who emerged from the movie screen, stepped forward in colorful Grecian robes, and finished their speeches.  At that instant, the modern actors somehow merged with electronics.  Their skin became silvery.  They became walking, talking machines.

The actors were connected to an artificial intelligence system that rendered traditional Hollywood technology – recording a scene with a camera and playing the film on a projector -- obsolete.  The audience wildly applauded each time a performer turned into a living machine.

This strange experience stunned me.  I did not have a ticket for a seat, so Ricky and I stayed in the foyer and peeked into the theater from time to time.

During an intermission, I found a concession stand with an abundance of free food, similar to a catered buffet for a film crew.  A barista gave me a paper cup of coffee.  When I asked for creamer, she handed me a gallon of milk.  Thinking, “This is way too much milk,” I set it down on a small table.  Then I realized that the large plastic container was dripping.  I walked away to find paper towels to mop up the puddle.  I became distracted and did not return to the concession stand to complete the task.

When the film resumed, Ricky and I wandered backstage.  I watched the screen from the reverse side.  The actors continued to step out of the film and transform into human-machine hybrids.  The special effects puzzled me.  I could not figure out how this was being done.

While I was there, the stage crew asked if I had any water.  There was a tremendous need for water.  I thought that they must have mistaken me for a vendor.  I said, “Sure,” and I handed out bottles of water.  Then they urgently asked me for help with the lighting.  Although I found that odd, since they had a lighting crew, I distributed lit candles, as well.

Then the scene changed.  (To be continued in the next chapter.)

Interpretation

   The crowd.  The human race.

   The convention center.  Media conglomerates.

The film premiere.  The entertainment industry.

The Greek tragedy.   I did a quick Internet search:

According to Aristotle, this theatrical style grew out of an ancient Greek hymn to the pagan god of wine and debauchery, Dionysus.  The word for tragedy was derived from a phrase that means “song of the goats.”

Wild, drunken partying (“Do what thou wilt”) is a trademark of the occult.

Goats?  Here is what the Bible says:

31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

                                                                                    Matthew 25:31-33

   What happens to the goats?

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

So, the audience at the movie premiere applauded a performance that combined ancient pagan occult traditions with strange new AI technology.

  One final point:

Alexander the Great – revered by his people as a god -- created his vast empire by conquering other kingdoms.  He foreshadowed other tyrants obsessed with world domination…including the Antichrist.

The actors’ transformation.    Ever since the early days of Hollywood, A-list actors have been powerful influencers.  They appear in TV commercials and magazine ads for everything from shampoo to Caribbean cruises.  They practically hypnotize the public into buying whatever they are selling.

In the dream, the audience had been primed for the Next Big Thing.  This bizarre new technology revolutionized not only the film and television industries, but also society itself.  The film premiere presented this transhumanist technology as a wonderful new invention available to all the people of the 21st century, and the crowd went wild for it.

The transformation was a weird ritual.  After merging with artificial intelligence, the actors were no longer 100% human.  They became hybrids of men and machines.  Even their skin turned silver.  Once they stepped through the screen, the change was permanent.

Milk.  We all know the expression, “There’s no use crying over spilled milk.”  This symbolizes goals I wanted to accomplish during my time on Earth that will not happen – books I wanted to write, places I hoped to visit -- and that’s OK, because they are no longer important.

Water and light.  These are major themes in the New Testament.  Jesus promised, “Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”  (John 4:14.)  He also said, “I am the light of the world.  Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”  (John 8:12.)

The desperation of the stage crew – water and light were needed NOW – tells me that, after the new technology was revealed, many people realized that their survival depended upon resources that only God can provide.

Dream #1, Part 2: The After Party and Invasion

The Dream

Following a movie premiere, it is traditional to have an “after party” at someone’s home.  With Ricky at my side, I was now in the back yard of a house in the Hollywood Hills.  It was a typical suburban four-bedroom home.  There were no half-human, half-machine actors present, just regular people milling around on the patio behind the house, chatting and waiting for the food on the barbecue.  It was a relaxed atmosphere.

Then we heard loud booms.  We looked up and pointed at fighter jets passing overhead.  We ran around the house and gathered on the front lawn to get a better look at the airplanes.  The guests broke into small groups; they whispered that the planes did not have American military insignia.

I turned and looked back at the house.  I had a quick vision within the dream.  To the right of the home, I glimpsed an ancient amphitheater, an open-air stadium with stone seats.  It looked like the Roman Senate.  A few men in togas were sitting on the rough-hewn steps; as I watched, they got up and retreated into the distance.

Frightened and upset, the guests stared at the sky.  An aircraft circled above us and swooped low over the house.  A loudspeaker told us to break up the party, go inside, and wait for further orders.

The partygoers shuffled into the house.  They were quiet and downcast as they watched the breaking news on a widescreen television in the living room.  The reporters confirmed that this was a foreign invasion; they repeated that everyone should remain indoors and await further instructions.

I decided to go home to be with my family.  The other guests gloomily advised against it; however, I believed I had a small window of opportunity to evacuate.  Ricky hopped into the passenger seat of my car, and we headed toward the freeway.  As I drove down the residential streets, I saw only a few other people running to their cars.

When I reached the freeway, the scene turned chaotic.  Large, scary, evil creatures were punching holes in the freeway with their fists and flipping cars over.

However, a much more powerful being fought off the demons and rescued the drivers.  The Angel of the Lord, about three stories tall, stood like a giant in the middle of the freeway.  As I drove closer, I yelled, “Hey!” and waved frantically at him through the windshield.  His eyes were ferocious beams of light.  He gave me a quick nod and cleared all obstacles for me to pass by safely in the fast lane.

Suddenly, I was no longer in the dream   My perspective changed to the third person.  I had a glimpse of America during the Tribulation.  I saw people rushing away from the cities on the coast.  The freeways through mountain passes were packed with cars.

Among the throngs of evacuees, I saw a woman who had accepted the new technology that I witnessed at the film premiere.  (This transhumanist agenda had been rolled out for the general population.)  She had been merged with artificial intelligence.  Unlike the actors, whose skin turned silver, her face was pale gray.  Although she was standing up, she appeared almost comatose.  Her eyes were vacant.  She acted as if she was waiting for instructions to be downloaded to her.

I was able to view the world briefly through her eyes.  Everything she saw was in shades of gray: people, trees, grass, and so on.  There was no joy in her life.  She felt no emotions.  Her spirit was stifled.

Then I saw a man in his twenties driving as fast as he could on a desolate desert highway.  The back seat of his car was filled with whatever supplies he had been able to grab.  He had been traveling for two days nonstop.  He was exhausted and low on gas.

   The dream ended.

Interpretation

The fighter jets.  The military airplanes arrived with loud booms, signifying an attack on America.  Since dreams are generally loaded with symbolism, there are several possible interpretations for these aircraft:

·         An invasion by a foreign power.  In real life, the mainstream news constantly reports threats from other nations against the United States.

·         An invasion by extraterrestrial forces.  This explanation would have sounded absurd ten years ago; however, government officials have recently dropped loud hints that they know more about aliens than they are ready to reveal.  In December 2019, the United States Space Force was founded "to protect the interests of the United States in space, deter aggression in, from, and to space, and conduct space operations."

If the Vatican’s strange 2020 Nativity scene is another clue, we may soon find out whether             we are alone in the universe.   I would keep an alien invasion on the table as a legitimate                     possibility, since I was not in  life-threatening danger in the dream until I encountered the evil              creatures on the freeway.

·         A cyberattack.  Lately, cybercriminals have crashed major websites with alarming frequency.  Americans are at risk for rolling blackouts, as well.

·         An economic collapse.  The late David Wilkerson, pastor of the Times Square Church, received a prophetic vision of a banking crisis resulting in six months of chaos.  This scenario would seem far-fetched, had we not experienced the 2020 pandemic lockdowns and the ensuing economic fallout.

Whichever threat (or combination of dangers) the fighter jets represent, I knew that the West Coast of the United States would be impacted.

The other guests.  A disturbing element of this dream was the reaction of the partygoers.  When they saw the television news report, they fell into a gloomy state of shock.  They did not react.  They did not cry or pray.  They did not take any action.  They just sat down and waited for someone to fix the problem

The amphitheater.  When the men in the old Roman Senate walked away, I understood that the government was not going to rescue us.  We were on our own.

My journey.  Although travel was perilous, I made it home successfully because God sent His warring angels to protect me.  I sensed in my spirit that my family and I were subsequently removed from the Earth in the Rapture.

The woman.  The transhumanist technology fogged her brain and disconnected her spirit from her body.  She was no longer completely human.  She was suspended between life and death.  Even though I did not see the mark on her hand or forehead, this technology was undoubtedly the Mark of the Beast.

The other driver.  The young man driving in the desert had missed the Rapture. He was searching for a safe bugout location to survive the Tribulation.

Other people have posted Rapture dreams online that closely follow the Bible’s descriptions, including trumpets blasting, graves opening, and loved ones reuniting in the air en route to Heaven.

Although I did not see those details, I witnessed several key events:

  • The presentation of a new technology infusing human beings with artificial intelligence.
  • A spiritual revival represented by the urgent requests for water and light, which represent salvation through Jesus.
  • An undefined attack on America’s West Coast.
  • Angelic intervention to counter a ferociously evil enemy.
  • A man rushing to a remote location during the Tribulation.

This timeline does not pinpoint when the Rapture will occur.  It can happen at any time, without warning, so it is best to be prepared with oil in our lamps (Matthew 25).  We must face all that is yet to come with faith and courage.

                10 Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
            I will strengthen you,
            Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

                                                            Isaiah 41:10

Dream #2: The RV

I received this message on November 28, 2020.

The Dream

I was driving a deluxe Class A motorhome.  It was like a mansion on wheels, with an ultramodern kitchen, plush couches, a widescreen TV…the works.  It reminded me of the luxurious RVs that musicians drive across country to their concerts.

One of my friends was sitting in the front passenger seat.  We had new hairstyles, and we were dressed to the nines.  We turned on the radio and sang songs of praise to God as we traveled through the city.  We were searching for people to invite on our road trip, for the RV had plenty of room for more passengers.

Interpretation

Ever since I started having these dreams, I have known that the clock is ticking.  This dream is a reminder to use our remaining time to help others find the narrow path to Heaven.

In an extraordinary phenomenon, believers around the world are receiving similar dreams.  My RV dream is amazingly close to one that Sammy Omosh from Kenya shared on 444prophecynews.com on 7/18/2021.  In his dream, he was driving a bus through Nairobi with other brothers in Christ.  They were searching for people to bring to the Lord.

Dream #3: The Altar Call

On November 28, 2020, after the RV Dream, I went back to sleep and received another message.

The Dream

One of my relatives was saved when he was younger, but he since turned away from God.  I invited him to church.  I told him I would be there, too, so he would not be alone.

When I arrived at the church, I found that it was a magnificent cathedral.  I was delighted to see my relative sitting there in a pew.

The pastor asked if anyone present would like to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior.  He repeated the altar call several times.

I was glad to see my relative finally stand up and walk up the side aisle toward the altar.  To encourage him, I jumped up and hurried up the center aisle.

The pastor was standing in the middle aisle, halfway to the altar.  He smiled at me as I approached.  When I stopped and hugged him, he turned into Jesus.  I woke up from the dream feeling a wonderful peace and warmth.

Interpretation

The RV Dream and the Altar Call Dream have similar themes.  I’m reaching out to family members, friends, even passersby with the message: It is time to get right with God.  Come along!  We’re on our way to a wonderful place.

The pastor changing into Jesus was one of the best moments of my life.   I remember vividly the joy, love, warmth, and peace that flowed through my being.  How marvelous that He is coming back soon to rescue us.

Dream #4:  The Banquet Hall

I received this dream in early December 2020.

The Dream

Accompanied by my friend from the RV Dream, I arrived at a party at a spectacular mansion.  We were wearing dazzling formal dresses.  When we stepped inside, the other guests were overjoyed to see us.  It was as if we had known them forever.

The mansion was more magnificent than Versailles, with spacious rooms and ethereal ceilings.  We walked into a banquet hall with an incredibly long table set for a feast.  The guests had already started to take their seats.  My friend and I hurried across the room to the far end of the table and found two vacant chairs.

As we waited for dinner to be served, we chatted with the guests around us.  It was fantastic to make so many new friends.  Everyone was very excited, for something amazing was about to happen.

Interpretation

I’m awed that the Lord showed me the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.

The warm welcome.  I’m reminded of the story of the Prodigal Son, for we all rely upon God’s grace and mercy to enter Heaven:

22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and

put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.

23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it.  Let’s have a feast and celebrate.

24 For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost

and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.

                                                                                    Luke 15:22

The wedding garments.  As described in the Scriptures:

Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting:

            “Hallelujah!
For our Lord God Almighty reigns.
Let us rejoice and be glad
                 and give him glory!
For the wedding of the Lamb has come,
and his bride has made herself ready.
            Fine linen, bright and clean,
                 was given her to wear.”

(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.)

Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”

                                                                        Revelation 19:6-9

The seats at the far end of the table.  In the dream, I remembered Jesus’ advice:

When he noticed how the guests picked the places of honor at the table, he told them this parable: “When someone invites you to a wedding feast, do not take the place of honor, for a person more  distinguished than you may have been invited. If so, the host who      invited both of you will come and say to you, ‘Give this person your  seat.’ Then, humiliated, you will have to take the least important  place. 10 But when you are invited, take the lowest place, so that  when your host comes, he will   say to you, ‘Friend, move up to a better place.’ Then you will be honored in the presence of all the  other guests. 11 For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled,  and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

                                                                                    Luke 14: 7-11

Dream #5: The Food Court

This is the final dream I received in December 2020.

The Dream

I was sitting in the food court on the top floor of a shopping mall.  I overheard a husband and wife arguing at a nearby table.

The woman said that the Bible warns us about the Great Tribulation.  She wanted to learn more about the End Times, so they would be prepared for these events.

The man loudly disagreed with everything she said.  He got up angrily and left.

Her face downcast, the wife remained seated at the table.  She was distressed that her husband would not listen to her.

I walked up to her and asked, “Do you know what’s going to happen soon?”

   She shook her head.

I told her that I would write down some notes for her, so she would know where to look in the Bible for the answers.

Interpretation

Bible prophecy.  When I was growing up, my family had lively conversation at the dinner table about Hal Lindsey’s books.  We knew that everything he described would happen someday.

How amazing that someday has turned out to be…now.

People everywhere are seeking the truth.  However, the Internet is flooded with appalling misinformation about the Rapture and the Tribulation.  It is our responsibility as believers to research and share the correct answers.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

                                                Hosea 4:6

The argument.  The wife knows that something big is on the horizon; her husband does not want to face it.  He wants his life to continue as usual.  Arguing and scoffing will not change God’s plans for Earth and the human race.

Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will  come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say,   “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died,   everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” But  they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens  came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by  water. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and  destroyed. By the same word the present heavens and earth are             reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and  destruction of the ungodly.

But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to            perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the  earth and everything done in it will be laid bare.

                                                                         2 Peter 3:3-10

Dream #6: The Wall of Fire

No further dreams came along for six months.  This message, which I received in June 2021, has the same theme as Dream #1, Part 2, The Invasion: escaping from danger.

The Dream

I landed a job at a business in Los Angeles.  When my new boss extended the job offer, he asked me to start work that day, a Friday.

I drove to the company, a large complex of buildings stretching over several city blocks, similar to a university campus.  I parked in a multi-level parking garage, walked into the main building, and my boss showed me to my desk.

I put in a typical eight-hour day on a computer.  When my shift ended, I left the building to go home.

As soon as I walked outside, I was surprised to see a monumental wall of fire encircling the city.  Heavy smoke filled the air.  The not-too-distant flames were red and angry.

The other employees stood nonchalantly outside the building.  I overheard someone say, “Let’s stay here and wait for the fire department to put it out.”  Since the company was open 24/7, even on the weekends, my coworkers decided to go back inside and pass the time chatting on social media on their cell phones and computers.

I asked a tech support employee, “Is there any way out of here?”

He said, “Yes.”  He pointed north, and then his hand shifted to the northeast.  He told me, “That’s the only road you can take.  You’ll have to pass La Cienega Boulevard.”

I was determined to go home, so I set off to find my car.  I was confident that I could detour around the fire safely.

The rest of the employees shrugged off the danger that surrounded us.  They ignored the escape route.  Instead, they chose to shelter in place in the company’s buildings for the weekend, or until everything returned to normal.

Interpretation

Friday evening.  The conclusion of the workweek signifies that we are at the end of this age.

The fire.   The wickedness rampant in the End Times.  The flames threatened death and destruction to the city’s inhabitants.

37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

                                                                                    Matthew 24:37

What happened in the days of Noah?

Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on  the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the Lord said, “I  will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth,  both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” But Noah found grace in the eyes of  the Lord.

                                                                                    Genesis 6:5-8

La Cienega Boulevard.   Many streets in L.A. have Spanish names.  La Cienega means a swamp or marshland.  Quicksand is commonly found in swamps.  People often do not see quicksand until they have already stumbled into it.

Therefore, two obstacles jeopardized the safety of everyone in the dream: wickedness, which entices people away from God, and deceptions, which pull them down to their doom.

The one road.  The only escape route is faith in Jesus.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

                                                                                                John 14:6

13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

                                                                                    Matthew 7:13-14

North by northeast.  In dreams, the direction north can symbolize reality and progress.  Northeast is similarly positive.  East on a map points to the right, confirming travel in the correct direction.

My car.  My vehicle to escape the flames was the Word of God.

105 Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path.

                                    Psalm 119:105

The other employees.  Unconcerned about their safety, my coworkers disregarded the escape route.  Like the angry husband in the Food Court dream, they clung to their Earthly lives, their jobs, and their paychecks.  Their employer, not their Creator, was their safety net.

The smoke.  The employees’ decision to remain in the buildings reminded me of the disaster that struck Pompeii in 79 A.D.  When Vesuvius erupted, many residents fled to the harbor.  Those who stayed in the town suffocated from the falling volcanic ash.

Dream #7: The Country Club

A brief, unusual dream arrived in June 2021.

The Dream

I was walking across the well-kept lawn of a country club.  I saw four middle-aged men in business suits standing nearby, facing each other.  They held an animated conversation that I did not hear.  Upon reaching an agreement about their plans, they shook hands with one another.

As I passed by, the men turned and watched me coldly and intently.

Interpretation

The four men.  Elites, Globalists, One Percenters – they have many names.  George Carlin, the great philosopher of the 20th century, famously said that the world is a private club, and that we are not members.

The four men symbolize the corporations that control banking, energy, technology, medicine, the media…well, practically all industries on Earth.

Their handshakes.  I did not know what the men decided to do.  They glared at me as if they suspected that I knew their plans.

Often the stories told in these dreams interconnect.  Not long after I spotted the global powerbrokers, I received the next unsettling dream.

With the Lord, there are no coincidences.

Dream #8: The Crowds

I received this dream on 6/28/21.

The Dream

A three-story shopping mall had just reopened after the pandemic lockdowns.  The customers were overjoyed that they were allowed to enter the building.  Crowds filled the sidewalks and flooded through the glass doors.  Once inside, thousands of people swarmed the escalators and mobbed the stores.

The first store I saw was a supermarket on the third floor.  The crowds were the heaviest there.  The customers snatched up large packages of food delivered from government storerooms: frozen chicken, breakfast cereal, and so on.

By the time I reached the shelves, only giant bags of vegetables were left.  I thought, “Well, I can always use some vegetables,” so I bought one.

When I exited the supermarket, I spotted an old friend.  She acted strange.  Her eyes were two different sizes.  She was sweaty and agitated.

I asked her what was wrong.

She was quick to answer, “Nothing.  Everything is fine.”

As the dream continued, the crowds diminished.  The groups I walked by became smaller, until I noticed just one or two people at a time.

On the first floor, I paused in front of a storefront window with a sign: “Free.  Take whatever you want.”  There was hardly any merchandise left on display, and I was the only customer.

I glanced into another storefront; I was startled at the busy, noisy environment.  Men and women in dark uniforms were working inside.  They were hammering wood framing in place for interior doors and cubicles.  They were also hanging electronic tablets on the walls.  When they noticed that I was watching them, they paused in their work to scrutinize me.

This made me uncomfortable.  I left the mall immediately.  No other customers were in sight.

Interpretation

The shrinking crowds.  This was the most unnerving part of the dream.  The dwindling of the mobs to a few -- and then none -- could represent a depopulation agenda.  Or, people could have decided it was safer to return to their homes.

The vegetables.   In dreams, vegetables symbolize healthy pursuits.  The large sack represents my extra efforts to stay well during the lockdowns.

The dark uniforms.  Police?  Military?  National Guard?  Like the globalists in the previous dream, they did not want anyone to observe them at work.

The tablets.  The role of technology in maintaining law and order during a crisis.

Dream #9: The Hospital

On July 23, 2021, I had the following dream.

The Dream

I was in the maternity ward of a hospital to give birth.  (In real life, I’m not pregnant.)  I was in a semi-private room.  My family was crowded around my side of the room.  Everyone was very excited about the imminent birth.

Someone had told the nurses that I was having a girl, and we had named her Azalea.  The hospital staff wrote the name on a white board on the wall near my bed, with exclamation points and sketches of flowers to welcome the little one.  The name was not spelled “Azalea”, however.  Since I’m nearsighted, I squinted at the board and puzzled over the alternate spelling.

My family left because a nurse told us that it was time for the delivery.  This nurse was a petite lady, notably calm, kind, and polite.  She accompanied me for the rest of the dream.

I was looking forward to meeting my doctor.  I assumed that I would be taken to the delivery room in a wheelchair, but my nurse told me that I would have to walk there.  So we headed down a long corridor.  Then we took the stairs, instead of an elevator, to the next floor.

I asked the nurse where the doctor was located.  She pointed at the ceiling.  We would need to travel to the top of the building, which was a tall tower.  She assured me that I would find food and beverages to sustain me on every floor, and I could sit down and rest, if needed.

On each level, I walked down a corridor and passed a nurses’ station.  The other nurses I met were grumpy, tired, and unhelpful.  If I said anything to them, they snapped at me.  Soon I began to ignore them.  My own nurse however, was unfailingly kind and polite to me.  She kept checking to make sure that I was OK.

After walking through each level, my nurse opened a door to a flight of stairs.  The first half of the stairs went up to a stairwell.  When we stepped onto this flat landing, we turned to our left and continued up the second section of stairs to the next floor.

We ascended several floors in the tower.  My nurse opened yet another stairway door and ushered me through.  Upon reaching the top of the first half of the stairs and turning to my left, I was perplexed to find that the stairwell had no floor.  I peered down into darkness.

The back of the stairwell looked like a rock climbing wall.  Big chunks of wood and stone jutted out from the stucco.

My nurse had already crossed this obstacle.  She stood at the base of the second flight of stairs, waiting for me.

I did not feel strong and brave enough for this task.  I protested, “How am I supposed to get across?  It’s too dangerous!  I could slip and fall to my death!  This is too much to expect anyone to do!  It’s not fair!”

My nurse assured me that everyone who makes this journey has to cross this obstacle.  She waited patiently, reaching out her hand to steady me, if needed.

Still grumbling, I planted a foot on a rock protrusion and grabbed hold of a petrified chunk of wood above my head.  Avoiding looking down into the dark abyss below, I inched my way across the back wall of the stairwell until I arrived safely beside my nurse at the base of the second half of the stairs.  Then we continued up the steps to the next floor.

Soon the nurse opened the final door.  We had reached the rooftop of the tower.  We had a magnificent view of the city, the sky, and the clouds.  I was surrounded by specialists were glad to see me and assured me that everything was fine.

While we waited for the doctor to arrive, I commented to my nurse that I was not looking forward to crossing that rock climbing wall again, on my way back down to my room.  She said that I would not have to.  It dawned on me that she meant that I would never face that obstacle again because I would not return to my hospital room.

Interpretation

   The hospital.  Earth.

The staircases.   Milestones in our life’s journey.

The rock climbing wall.  An extreme challenge that requires faith in Jesus.  The petrified wood symbolizes the Old Rugged Cross of the famous hymn.  The stone is a reminder to build our houses on rock:

24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on  that house;   and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

                                                                                    Matthew 7:24-25

The rock climbing wall reminds me of the obstacles in The Pilgrim’s Progress.  At one point, the hero decides to take an easier road – which leads to near disaster.

In my dream, there was no alternative to traversing the rock wall.  I had to trust in Jesus to avoid perishing in the darkness below.

The doctor.  The Great Physician is Jesus.

17 When Jesus heard it, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to  call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

                                                                                    Mark 2:17

My nurse.  The woman who accompanied me in the dream was one of God’s angels.  Her encouragement when I encountered the rock climbing wall reminds me of this Scripture:

18 If I say, “My foot slips,”
Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up.

                                                Psalm 94:18

The other nurses.  The cranky women may have represented backslidden believers who had lost their faith.

Giving birth.  In dreams, this can mean a new beginning.  Lately, I have been thinking that believers should not focus the majority of their attention on the Tribulation.  Not only will the Lord will rescue us in the Rapture, He will also show us the wonders of the Marriage Feast of the Lamb, the New Jerusalem, The Millennial Kingdom, and the new Heaven and Earth.  Much splendor awaits.

The name Azalea.  When I awakened, I researched the name Azalea.  It means dry.  Instantly I remembered that California is suffering a terrible drought affecting food production.  I also reflected on the Bible passage about the famine for God’s word (Amos 8:11-12).

The name written on the white board in the semiprivate room was not spelled Azalea.  During the dream, I had not paid attention to the exact spelling.  All I could remember was that it was not a typical American spelling.  I looked up alternative spellings of this name on the Internet.  I found Azaliah, which is the name of a man in 2 Kings, chapter 22.  This name means near the Lord.  It implies a special, close relationship with God, a blessing promised to all believers.

Conclusion

These nine dreams express a continuity of themes through a variety of symbols:

The journey.  From the invasion in the first dream to the tour of the hospital in the last one, I was traveling somewhere in a hurry.  The journey led me through amazing transformations.  I saw changes that impacted society, I overcame my fears, and I witnessed to people about the Lord.

Danger.  Often my path was difficult and filled with obstacles.  I rushed home after the party.  I escaped the wall of fire.  I crossed the rock climbing wall.  Miraculously, I always survived.

God’s angels.  The angels assisted me when I was in peril.  A giant angel rescued me on the freeway in the Invasion Dream.  The nurse in the Hospital Dream escorted me to meet the Great Physician.

Destination: Heaven.  The pastor at the church turned into Jesus and hugged me.  My friend and I made a last sweep around the city to rescue believers, and then we attended the Marriage Feast of the Lamb.  I reached the rooftop of the hospital and awaited the arrival of the Great Physician.

The End Times.  I saw the Bible’s prophecies coming true.  God’s promises are real; the Rapture and the Tribulation are imminent.

The fate of the human race.   People in the Invasion Dream attempted to escape the woes of the Tribulation.  My coworkers, however, ignored the wall of fire and foolishly waited for things to get better.  In the Crowds dream, vast numbers of humans dwindled to a few.

Their destinies depended upon their decisions.  If they clung to this dysfunctional world, it was Game Over.  If they joined Team Jesus and examined their Bibles, End Times events did not take them by surprise.

Your Future

This age is drawing to a close.  Soon, a seven-year peace treaty with Israel will launch the Tribulation.  The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse will ride across the world, bringing the Antichrist, war, famine, and death.  The judgments of seals, trumpets, and bowls will take place.

Whether we leave Earth in the Rapture, perish during the Tribulation, or enter the Millennial Kingdom, the wisest move we can make on the Chess Board of Life is to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

Best.  Decision.  Ever.

During the lockdowns, people often advised: “Live your best life.”  If you truly want to achieve that, for now and for eternity, focus your attention on Jesus.  He is the only path to Heaven.  He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).

If you have not done so already, pray The Sinner’s Prayer.  You will be forever glad you did.

Many drafts of this prayer exist on the Internet.  The basics components of this prayer: repent of your sins, acknowledge that Jesus paid for them, accept Him as your savior, and ask Him to help you go and sin no more.

The Sinner’s Prayer

Dear Lord Jesus,

I admit that I am a sinner, and I ask You to forgive me.  I am truly sorry for my sins.  I believe that You paid for my sins on the cross, You died for me, and You rose from the dead.  Jesus, I accept You as my Lord and Savior.  Please come into my heart and my life and help me to sin no more.  Please change me into the kind of person You want me to be.  Thank You for Your mercy and forgiveness.  Thank You for saving me and giving me eternal life.

Amen.

Congratulations!  You are now a follower of Jesus Christ.  You have taken your first step on your journey to Heaven.

Next, get a Bible and read at least a chapter every day.  Your faith in God will grow as you immerse yourself in His Word.  Start in the Gospels and learn about Jesus.  Study the letters in the New Testament, for they have important truths for you as a believer.  Explore the creation story in Genesis.  The Psalms praise our Heavenly Father for His kindness and mercy.  When you are ready, read the entire Bible straight through to gain a panoramic view of the relationship between God and His people.

I have collected several essential Bible study resources from the Internet.  You will find this free e-book, In Case of Emergency, on my blog and website.  To prepare for a grid down situation, please print these documents, store them in a binder, and keep them -- with a Bible -- in your prepper supplies.

Also, remember to pray to Jesus and your Heavenly Father every day.  Prayer is simply talking to God.  Praise Him and thank Him for saving you.  Ask Him to meet all of your needs.  Turn your worries over to Him.  Lift up your family, your friends, and even your enemies in prayer.  Through praying and studying the Bible, you will develop a close relationship with God and avoid the temptation to sin.

Share the Good News with others, for the time is short.  People need to hear the positive message of salvation.  They need real hope now more than ever.  Just like the wife in the Food Court dream, they hunger for the truth.

Shun your old, sinful habits.  Clean your house.  Get rid of all evil things: Ouija boards, tarot cards, T-shirts with pentagrams, etc.  Stop watching horror movies.  If anything causes you to sin, throw it away.  Do not let the enemy have a toehold in your renewed life.

Remember that you are a new creation, alive with Christ, forgiven, redeemed, and dearly loved.

Famous Dreams of the Bible

Jacob’s Vow at Bethel

10 Now Jacob went out from Beersheba and went toward Haran11 So he came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep. 12 Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.

13 And behold, the Lord stood above it and said: “I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants. 14 Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed. 15 Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.”

16 Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.” 17 And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!”

18 Then Jacob rose early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put at his head, set it up as a pillar, and poured oil on top of it. 19 And he called the name of that place Bethel; but the name of that city had been Luz previously. 20 Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me, and keep me in this way that I am going, and give me bread to eat and clothing to put on, 21 so that I come back to my father’s house in peace, then the Lord shall be my God. 22 And this stone which I have set as a pillar shall be God’s house, and of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You.”

                                                                        Genesis 28:10-22

The Prisoners’ Dreams

1It came to pass after these things that the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt offended their lord, the king of EgyptAnd Pharaoh was angry with his two officers, the chief butler and the chief baker. So he put them in custody in the house of the captain of the guard, in the prison, the place where Joseph was confined. And the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them, and he served them; so they were in custody for a while.

Then the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, who were confined in the prison, had a dream, both of them, each man’s dream in one night and each man’s dream with its own interpretation. And Joseph came in to them in the morning and looked at them, and saw that they were sad. So he asked Pharaoh’s officers who were with him in the custody of his lord’s house, saying, “Why do you look so sad today?”

And they said to him, “We each have had a dream, and there is no interpreter of it.”

So Joseph said to them, “Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell them to me, please.”

Then the chief butler told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, “Behold, in my dream a vine was before me, 10 and in the vine were three branches; it was as though it budded, its blossoms shot forth, and its clusters brought forth ripe grapes. 11 Then Pharaoh’s cup was in my hand; and I took the grapes and pressed them into Pharaoh’s cup, and placed the cup in Pharaoh’s hand.”

12 And Joseph said to him, “This is the interpretation of it: The three branches are three days. 13 Now within three days Pharaoh will lift up your head and restore you to your place, and you will put Pharaoh’s cup in his hand according to the former manner, when you were his butler. 14 But remember me when it is well with you, and please show kindness to me; make mention of me to Pharaoh, and get me out of this house. 15 For indeed I was stolen away from the land of the Hebrews; and also I have done nothing here that they should put me into the dungeon.”

16 When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said to Joseph, “I also was in my dream, and there were three white baskets on my head. 17 In the uppermost basket were all kinds of baked goods for Pharaoh, and the birds ate them out of the basket on my head.”

18 So Joseph answered and said, “This is the interpretation of it: The three baskets are three days. 19 Within three days Pharaoh will lift off your head from you and hang you on a tree; and the birds will eat your flesh from you.”

20 Now it came to pass on the third day, which was Pharaoh’s birthday, that he made a feast for all his servants; and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants. 21 Then he restored the chief butler to his butlership again, and he placed the cup in Pharaoh’s hand. 22 But he hanged the chief baker, as Joseph had interpreted to them. 23 Yet the chief butler did not remember Joseph, but forgot him.

                                                                                    Genesis 40:1-23

Pharaoh’s Dreams

1 Then it came to pass, at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh had a dream; and behold, he stood by the river. Suddenly there came up out of the river seven cows, fine looking and fat; and they fed in the meadow. Then behold, seven other cows came up after them out of the river, ugly and gaunt, and stood by the other cows on the bank of the river. And the ugly and gaunt cows ate up the seven fine looking and fat cows. So Pharaoh awoke. He slept and dreamed a second time; and suddenly seven heads of grain came up on one stalk, plump and good. Then behold, seven thin heads, blighted by the east wind, sprang up after them. And the seven thin heads devoured the seven plump and full heads. So Pharaoh awoke, and indeed, it was a dream. Now it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled, and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt and all its wise men. And Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was no one who could interpret them for Pharaoh.

Then the chief butler spoke to Pharaoh, saying: “I remember my faults this day. 10 When Pharaoh was angry with his servants, and put me in custody in the house of the captain of the guard, both me and the chief baker, 11 we each had a dream in one night, he and I. Each of us dreamed according to the interpretation of his own dream. 12 Now there was a young Hebrew man with us there, a servant of the captain of the guard. And we told him, and he interpreted our dreams for us; to each man he interpreted according to his own dream. 13 And it came to pass, just as he interpreted for us, so it happened. He restored me to my office, and he hanged him.”

14 Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him quickly out of the dungeon; and he shaved, changed his clothing, and came to Pharaoh. 15 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I have had a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it. But I have heard it said of you that you can understand a dream, to interpret it.”

16 So Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, “It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh an answer of peace.”

17 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph: “Behold, in my dream I stood on the bank of the river. 18 Suddenly seven cows came up out of the river, fine looking and fat; and they fed in the meadow. 19 Then behold, seven other cows came up after them, poor and very ugly and gaunt, such ugliness as I have never seen in all the land of Egypt20 And the gaunt and ugly cows ate up the first seven, the fat cows. 21 When they had eaten them up, no one would have known that they had eaten them, for they were just as ugly as at the beginning. So I awoke. 22 Also I saw in my dream, and suddenly seven heads came up on one stalk, full and good. 23 Then behold, seven heads, withered, thin, and blighted by the east wind, sprang up after them. 24 And the thin heads devoured the seven good heads. So I told this to the magicians, but there was no one who could explain it to me.”

25 Then Joseph said to Pharaoh, “The dreams of Pharaoh are one; God has shown Pharaoh what He is about to do: 26 The seven good cows are seven years, and the seven good heads are seven years; the dreams are one. 27 And the seven thin and ugly cows which came up after them are seven years, and the seven empty heads blighted by the east wind are seven years of famine. 28 This is the thing which I have spoken to Pharaoh. God has shown Pharaoh what He is about to do. 29 Indeed seven years of great plenty will come throughout all the land of Egypt30 but after them seven years of famine will arise, and all the plenty will be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine will deplete the land. 31 So the plenty will not be known in the land because of the famine following, for it will be very severe. 32 And the dream was repeated to Pharaoh twice because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.

33 “Now therefore, let Pharaoh select a discerning and wise man, and set him over the land of Egypt34 Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, to collect one-fifth of the produce of the land of Egypt in the seven plentiful years. 35 And let them gather all the food of those good years that are coming, and store up grain under the authority of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities. 36 Then that food shall be as a reserve for the land for the seven years of famine which shall be in the land of Egypt, that the land may not perish during the famine.”

                                                                                    Genesis 41:1-36

Solomon Requests Wisdom

At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, “Ask! What shall I give you?”

And Solomon said: “You have shown great mercy to Your servant David my father, because he walked before You in truth, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with You; You have continued this great kindness for him, and You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day. Now, O Lord my God, You have made Your servant king instead of my father David, but I am a little child; I do not know how to go out or come in. And Your servant is in the midst of Your people whom You have chosen, a great people, too numerous to be numbered or counted. Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?”

10 The speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing. 11 Then God said to him: “Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked long life for yourself, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice, 12 behold, I have done according to your words; see, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you. 13 And I have also given you what you have not asked: both riches and honor, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days. 14 So if you walk in My ways, to keep My statutes and My commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days.”

15 Then Solomon awoke; and indeed it had been a dream. And he came to Jerusalem and stood before the ark of the covenant of the Lord, offered up burnt offerings, offered peace offerings, and made a feast for all his servants.

                                                                                    1 Kings 3:5-15

Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream

1 Now in the second year of Nebuchadnezzar’s reign, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams; and his spirit was so troubled that his sleep left him. Then the king gave the command to call the magicians, the astrologers, the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans to tell the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king. And the king said to them, “I have had a dream, and my spirit is anxious to know the dream.”

Then the Chaldeans spoke to the king in Aramaic, “O king, live forever! Tell your servants the dream, and we will give the interpretation.”

The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, “My decision is firm: if you do not make known the dream to me, and its interpretation, you shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made an ash heap. However, if you tell the dream and its interpretation, you shall receive from me gifts, rewards, and great honor. Therefore tell me the dream and its interpretation.”

They answered again and said, “Let the king tell his servants the dream, and we will give its interpretation.”

The king answered and said, “I know for certain that you would gain time, because you see that my decision is firm: if you do not make known the dream to me, there is only one decree for you! For you have agreed to speak lying and corrupt words before me till the time has changed. Therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that you can give me its interpretation.”

10 The Chaldeans answered the king, and said, “There is not a man on earth who can tell the king’s matter; therefore no king, lord, or ruler has ever asked such things of any magician, astrologer, or Chaldean. 11 It is a difficult thing that the king requests, and there is no other who can tell it to the king except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.”

12 For this reason the king was angry and very furious, and gave the command to destroy all the wise men of Babylon13 So the decree went out, and they began killing the wise men; and they sought Daniel and his companions, to kill them.

God Reveals Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream

14 Then with counsel and wisdom Daniel answered Arioch, the captain of the king’s guard, who had gone out to kill the wise men of Babylon15 he answered and said to Arioch the king’s captain, “Why is the decree from the king so urgent?” Then Arioch made the decision known to Daniel.

16 So Daniel went in and asked the king to give him time, that he might tell the king the interpretation. 17 Then Daniel went to his house, and made the decision known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions, 18 that they might seek mercies from the God of heaven concerning this secret, so that Daniel and his companions might not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon19 Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. So Daniel blessed the God of heaven.

20 Daniel answered and said:

“Blessed be the name of God forever and ever,
For wisdom and might are His.
21 And He changes the times and the seasons;
He removes kings and raises up kings;
He gives wisdom to the wise
And knowledge to those who have understanding.
22 He reveals deep and secret things;
He knows what is in the darkness,
And light dwells with Him.

23 “I thank You and praise You,
O God of my fathers;
You have given me wisdom and might,
And have now made known to me what we asked of You,
For You have made known to us the king’s demand.”

Daniel Explains the Dream

24 Therefore Daniel went to Arioch, whom the king had appointed to destroy the wise men of Babylon. He went and said thus to him: “Do not destroy the wise men of Babylon; take me before the king, and I will tell the king the interpretation.”

25 Then Arioch quickly brought Daniel before the king, and said thus to him, “I have found a man of the captives of Judah, who will make known to the king the interpretation.”

26 The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, “Are you able to make known to me the dream which I have seen, and its interpretation?”

27 Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, “The secret which the king has demanded, the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, and the soothsayers cannot declare to the king. 28 But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head upon your bed, were these: 29 As for you, O king, thoughts came to your mind while on your bed, about what would come to pass after this; and He who reveals secrets has made known to you what will be. 30 But as for me, this secret has not been revealed to me because I have more wisdom than anyone living, but for our sakes who make known the interpretation to the king, and that you may know the thoughts of your heart.

31 “You, O king, were watching; and behold, a great image! This great image, whose splendor was excellent, stood before you; and its form was awesome. 32 This image’s head was of fine gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, 33 its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay. 34 You watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces. 35 Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

36 “This is the dream. Now we will tell the interpretation of it before the king. 37 You, O king, are a king of kings. For the God of heaven has given you a kingdom, power, strength, and glory; 38 and wherever the children of men dwell, or the beasts of the field and the birds of the heaven, He has given them into your hand, and has made you ruler over them all—you are this head of gold. 39 But after you shall arise another kingdom inferior to yours; then another, a third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over all the earth. 40 And the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron, inasmuch as iron breaks in pieces and shatters everything; and like iron that crushes, that kingdom will break in pieces and crush all the others. 41 Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. 43 As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay. 44 And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. 45 Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold—the great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is sure.”

Daniel and His Friends Promoted

46 Then King Nebuchadnezzar fell on his face, prostrate before Daniel, and commanded that they should present an offering and incense to him. 47 The king answered Daniel, and said, “Truly your God is the God of gods, the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, since you could reveal this secret.” 48 Then the king promoted Daniel and gave him many great gifts; and he made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief administrator over all the wise men of Babylon49 Also Daniel petitioned the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego over the affairs of the province of Babylon; but Daniel sat in the gate of the king.

Vision of the Four Beasts

1 In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and visions of his head while on his bed. Then he wrote down the dream, telling the main facts.

Daniel spoke, saying, “I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of heaven were stirring up the Great SeaAnd four great beasts came up from the sea, each different from the other. The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings. I watched till its wings were plucked off; and it was lifted up from the earth and made to stand on two feet like a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.

“And suddenly another beast, a second, like a bear. It was raised up on one side, and had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. And they said thus to it: ‘Arise, devour much flesh!’

“After this I looked, and there was another, like a leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird. The beast also had four heads, and dominion was given to it.

“After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words.

Vision of the Ancient of Days

“I watched till thrones were put in place,
And the Ancient of Days was seated;
His garment was white as snow,
And the hair of His head was like pure wool.
His throne was a fiery flame,
Its wheels a burning fire;
10 A fiery stream issued
And came forth from before Him.
A thousand thousands ministered to Him;
Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him.
The court was seated,
And the books were opened.

11 “I watched then because of the sound of the pompous words which the horn was speaking; I watched till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame. 12 As for the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away, yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time.

13 “I was watching in the night visions,
And behold, One like the Son of Man,
Coming with the clouds of heaven!
He came to the Ancient of Days,
And they brought Him near before Him.
14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom,
That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion,
Which shall not pass away,
And His kingdom the one
Which shall not be destroyed.

Daniel’s Visions Interpreted

15 “I, Daniel, was grieved in my spirit within my body, and the visions of my head troubled me. 16 I came near to one of those who stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me and made known to me the interpretation of these things: 17 ‘Those great beasts, which are four, are four kings which arise out of the earth. 18 But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.’

19 “Then I wished to know the truth about the fourth beast, which was different from all the others, exceedingly dreadful, with its teeth of iron and its nails of bronze, which devoured, broke in pieces, and trampled the residue with its feet; 20 and the ten horns that were on its head, and the other horn which came up, before which three fell, namely, that horn which had eyes and a mouth which spoke pompous words, whose appearance was greater than his fellows.

21 “I was watching; and the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them, 22 until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom.

23 “Thus he said:

‘The fourth beast shall be
A fourth kingdom on earth,
Which shall be different from all other kingdoms,
And shall devour the whole earth,
Trample it and break it in pieces.
24 The ten horns are ten kings
Who shall arise from this kingdom.
And another shall rise after them;
He shall be different from the first ones,
And shall subdue three kings.
25 He shall speak pompous words against the Most High,
Shall persecute the saints of the Most High,
And shall intend to change times and law.
Then the saints shall be given into his hand
For a time and times and half a time.

26 ‘But the court shall be seated,
And they shall take away his dominion,
To consume and destroy it forever.
27 Then the kingdom and dominion,
And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven,
Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High.
His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.’

28 “This is the end of the account. As for me, Daniel, my thoughts greatly troubled me, and my countenance changed; but I kept the matter in my heart.”

                                                                                    Daniel 7:1-28

Christ Born of Mary

18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly. 20 But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. 21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

22 So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: 23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

24 Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife, 25 and did not know her till she had brought forth her firstborn Son. And he called His name Jesus.

                                                                        Matthew 1:18-25

Wise Men from the East

1 Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”

When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born.

So they said to him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it is written by the prophet:

‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah,
Are not the least among the rulers of Judah;
For out of you shall come a Ruler
Who will shepherd My people Israel.’ ”

Then Herod, when he had secretly called the wise men, determined from them what time the star appeared. And he sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search carefully for the young Child, and when you have found Him, bring back word to me, that I may come and worship Him also.”

When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was. 10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. 11 And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

12 Then, being divinely warned in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed for their own country another way.

The Flight into Egypt

13 Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him.”

14 When he arose, he took the young Child and His mother by night and departed for Egypt15 and was there until the death of Herod, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, “Out of Egypt I called My Son.”

Massacre of the Innocents

16 Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry; and he sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men. 17 Then was fulfilled what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying:

18 “A voice was heard in Ramah,
Lamentation, weeping, and great mourning,
Rachel weeping for her children,
Refusing to be comforted,
Because they are no more.”

                                      The Home in Nazareth

19 Now when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, 20 saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the young Child’s life are dead.” 21 Then he arose, took the young Child and His mother, and came into the land of Israel.

22 But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning over Judea instead of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. And being warned by God in a dream, he turned aside into the region of Galilee23 And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, “He shall be called a Nazarene.”
